Battery Operated: Remove all debris and dust from the floor to be burnished using a clean, treated dust mop. Place wet floor signs designating area to be damp mopped. Damp mop the floor area. Use the scraper/putty knife to remove gum and other debris from floor while mopping. Allow the area to dry. Install burnishing pad on the machine. Dry burnish the floor in an in-line direction up the floor and back down the floor (do not swing back and forth). Repeat the process until the entire area has been burnished. Dust mop the floor area using a treated dust mop. Be sure to inspect your work and correct any steps you might have missed. Finally, as in all cleaning procedures, allow time to clean up and return the janitorial equipment to the storage area. When you are finished, wash hands and dry thoroughly.
