Glass cleaners
work by cleaning with a solvent that evaporates quickly so
that there are no water spots left behind. The better the
glass cleaner cuts through grease and grime the less streaks
you will have when your done. Glass cleaners work differently
in different temperatures. In warm to hot conditions glass
cleaners will evaporate quickly whereas in cold temperatures
glass cleaner will dry slower and might leave residue marks on
windows. We recommend using a glass cleaner with a higher
ammonia mix in colder conditions to speed up the evaporation
process. Some glass cleaners come in a concentrated formula
that is mixed with water. By using these glass cleaners you
can adjust the solvent amount to match the room temperature.
Glass cleaners are sold in many different types of container
sizes. Most common for commercial cleaning are quarts gallons
and 5 gallon bag in box containers. Quart size bottles can
come with or without trigger sprayer attached. Common glass
gleaners that are sold on this site are Misty glass cleaner,
Windex glass cleaner and 409 glass cleaner. We also carry
glass cleaners by Warsaw Chemical and Claire aerosols, for
more information please contact us regarding pricing and
availability.
Most glass
cleaners can be used on glass windows, mirrors and treated
glass. Glass cleaners should not be used on Lexan and some
Plexiglass because the active ingredient will etch the
surface.
