This safety feature prevents unauthorized operation of the machine if it is temporarily left unattended in a public place.  For deep-down carpet shampooing or controlled floor scrubbing, the Thoroughbred can also be paired with the appropriate brush and solution tank.  The Thoroughbred is available with a 1 or 1.5 HP motor and in 17-in. and 20-in. widths so you can match the machine’s muscle and size to your requirements. Safety lock-out lever prevents unauthorized use of the machine. Metal cord strain relief and internal compression lock prevent the cord from being pulled out of the machine. Sturdy 1.5-in. tube handle is chrome plated to resist corrosion. Precision-cast aluminum locking lever lets operator adjust handle to a comfortable position. Heat-treated, aircraft aluminum tube clamp holds the handle firmly in place during operation. 5-in. rear transport wheels make the Thoroughbred easy to move to the job site. Heavy, polished aluminum motor mount casting securely provides a solid foundation, assuring smooth operation. The polished aluminum skirt casting stabilizes the machine, maximizing cleaning efficiency. 360° non-marking bumper protects walls and fixtures from accidental damage. Dual switch levers allow operator to easily control the side-to-side movement of the machine. 4-Gallon Solution Tank With this optional solution tank you can shampoo carpets and scrub hard floors. It is easily attached to the machine handle - no tools necessary. Built in cord wrap hook provides easy storage for the power cord when not in use.
