The Sidewinder BP 30 battery-powered
sweeper is the perfect compact machine to clean both carpeted and hard
floor areas, indoors and out. A 30-inch (75 cm) sweeping path makes it
ideal for large areas, yet its compact design fits through doorways
and into tight areas. The 12-volt, 145-AH battery provides 4.5 hours
of continuous runtime. The on-board battery charger permits charging
the batteries anywhere an outlet is available. The Sidewinder BP 30 is
self-propelled with a traction drive system to reduce operator
fatigue. The large 13.5-gal. (51-liter) hopper requires less frequent
emptying. The Sidewinder BP 30 features a centrifugal fan with a 382.5
CFM (10.83 m3) air flow capacity to collect hard-to-sweep dust. The
main filter with 32.3 square feet (3 square meters) of cellulose-area
surface, combined with manual shakers, protects indoor air quality.
The 15.4-inch (39 cm) side broom runs along walls and curbs to sweep
debris into the pick-up path of the main brush. The ergonomically
adjustable handle can be set at the operator’s comfort level.
The dead man lever provides fingertip
control of the traction drive. The adjustable side broom sweeps debris
away from walls and curbs and into the pick-up path of the main brush.
Adjustable handle lets the operator set the handle height at the
perfect comfort level. The ABS plastic hood and body, which resist
dents, cracks and corrosion, is mounted to a heavy duty steel frame.
This lever opens up the large debris flap underneath the machine to
pick up bigger items. The removable hopper makes emptying the
Sidewinder BP 30 easy. Two shaker knobs easily dislodge excessive dust
from the filter. The flip-top cover permits easy access to the
battery, main brush adjustment knob, on-board battery charger, and
other internal components. The main brush position can be monitored by
checking the brush-height gauge. A by-pass switch allows the operator
to collect water soaked debris without damaging the filter. The
on-board battery charger provides the convenience of recharging
anywhere an outlet is available.
