Folded Paper Towels:

CFold Towels (C-Fold Towels) - Cfold towels have two folds and three sections all the same size.  Cfold towel dispensers are slim line and fit nicely on walls where you don't want the dispensers to protrude out a large distance.  Some paper towel dispensers will work with both cfold and multifold towels.  Most cfold towel/multifold towel dispensers can accommodate 300 - 400 cfold towels and 400-500 multifold towels.  On average a person will take 3-4 towels to dry there hands so this type of dispenser can service about 100 people before it needs to be refilled again.

Multifold Towels (MFold Towels) - Multifold paper towels  have two folds and three equal segments.  When folded a multifold paper towel will resemble a Z.  The average multi fold paper towel dispenser can accommodate from 400-500 paper towels.  With the average person using 3-4 towels per hand drying you can expect to service up to 125 people before refilling the dispenser.

Singlefold Towels  - Singlefold paper towels have one fold which separates the paper towel into unequal sections.  Most singlefold towel dispensers will hold up to 500 paper towels.  The average person uses 3-4 paper towels to dry there hand so this system will service up to 125 people before it will need to be refilled. White or bleached singlefold paper towels are generally more expensive than natural brown paper towels.

Roll Paper Towels:

There are two standards in paper roll towels which are the color of the paper towel and the width of the paper towel roll.  Roll paper towels come in two colors, brown natural unbleached natural brown paper roll towels and bleached white paper roll towels.  Roll towels generally come in two width sizes which are 8" wide roll towels and 7 7/8" roll towels.  The length of the rolls also differ and are measured by feet.  Roll paper towels can range from 200ft to 800 ft in roll length.  Roll towels are one of the most economical of all the paper towels.  Also roll paper towels need to be changed less due to the amount of raw paper towel they can hold.  When choosing a paper towel dispenser the paper roll towel dispenser should fit both the width and the length of the towel.  Roll towel dispenser are generally more expensive than folded towel dispensers but you'll save money over time on paper towel costs.
