Procedure For Trash Removal

Recommended Supplies and Cleaning Equipment:
EPA Registered Cleaner/Disinfectant
Wiping Material (Rags, Paper Towels, Sponge, Etc.)
Sprayer � Trigger (labeled), Pump-Up, Aerosol, Foam, etc.
Rubber Gloves
Plastic Bags

Recommended Method:

Spray and Wipe:

As in all cleaning procedures, the first step is to gather the recommended janitorial equipment and supplies together and bring to the area to be cleaned.

Empty ashtray into trash container and wipe with special rag used for ashtrays.

Remove filled trash bag from container and tie it closed.

Spray and wipe out trash container with diluted or ready-to-use EPA registered cleaner/disinfectant.

Place new trash bag into trash container.

Alternate Method:

Pail and wipe:

Follow same procedure as spray and wipe.

Allow time to clean up and return the cleaning equipment to the storage area.

Finally, when you are finished, wash hands and dry thoroughly.
